Greyhounds are best known as racing dogs and originate from the Middle East and North Africa. When they came to Europe, laws prevented anyone who lived within 10 miles of the King's forests from owning a Greyhound as their hunting ability was second to none.
Surprisingly Greyhounds are fairly low energy dogs and owners often report that they are couch potatoes, only running around in full sprint for short periods.
They are very gentle and sweet-tempered dogs who love nothing more than cosying up for cuddles on the sofa. Due to their athletic physique and thin coat, they can easily get cold so you will often see them being walked in jumpers and coats.
This Greyhound soft toy short soft plush fur that is great for stroking. His fur is dark orange with a white muzzle, chest, tummy and feet, making sure his dark eyes and nose really draw you in -- how can you resist??
Your Greyhound toy dog is a typical low energy hound but can easily be coaxed into playing. He also has beans in his bottom to give a little weight and will "SIT" nicely!
