The origin of these fluffy little dogs is unknown but it is thought they come from the sunny Isle of Malta or Italy, despite their common occurrence in Ancient Greek and Egyptian culture. The Greeks even loved them so much they used to build tombs for them!
They are very sweet dogs who assume that everyone and everything is their friend so will approach any humans or animals happily. Maltese dogs are not well suited to heat or the cold so are best as house dogs and can easily get a lot of exercise indoors as they are very playful. They keep their fun-loving side of them well into old age.
This Maltese soft toy dog is incredibly fluffy and once given a quick shake it’s long white fur gains a lot of volume! Its dark eyes and black nose really stand out from the fur, like a real Maltese. This toy is also perfect as a gift as it comes with a red bow around the neck so no need for wrapping!!
It has beans in it's bottom to give a little weight, so will "SIT" nicely!
