Every year as part of the Designers Choice Series, Steiff invite one of their designers to reinterpret classic Steiff articles, while giving free rein to their creativity.
The chosen designer for 2019 is Sarah-Anne Schaude and the Designers Choice Sarah Little Elephant represents her passion and artistic flair.
Sarah joins the ranks of characters in the little elephant miniature series. With a rich contrast formed by the colourful, flower-embroidered felt elements and her black jacquard skin, the unflappable Sarah is an ideal piece for Teddy bear Frida. Like Frida, Sarah Little Elephant also calls to mind the tradition of indigenous Mexican people.
Limited to 500 pieces
She has the famous gold plated "Button in Ear" and a white label with red writing, showing that she is only limited to 500 pieces worldwide, making a very collectable bear.
