Merrythought have created this delightful petite version of Edward Bear, who is an accurate replica of Christopher Robin's original teddy bear, called Edward, who was created by Farnell in 1921 and famously inspired AA Milne's Winnie The Pooh stories. Edward bear stars in the major feature film, 'Goodbye Christopher Robin', where the tales of this young bear are brought to life.
This handsome bear has been hand-crafted from a rich, golden antique mohair and has sandy beige pure woollen felt paws. His deep amber eyes show a longing to be loved, which together with his hand-stitched nose and smile, give him a charm that can only be found in a timeless teddy bear of this design and heritage.
Edward bear is individually numbered as part of a special edition and is presented in a special blue luxury 'Farnell by Merrythought' drum box............a perfect present for children and adults alike, including any Winnie The Pooh fans!
