STEIFF PRINCESS DI TEDDY BEAR

Size: 30cm

Limited Edition of 997

Diana, Princess of Wales  (1 July 1961 - 31st August 1997) was an iconic figure of the late 20th Century. She epitomised feminine beauty and glamour. At the same time, she ws admired for her ground breaking charity work, in particular, her work with AIDS patients and supporting the campaign for banning landmines. "Carry out a random act of kindness, with no expectation of reward, safe in the knowledge that someone might do the same for you" Princess Diana.

Married to Prince Charles in 1981, she recieved the title of "Her Royal Highness Princess Diana of Wales". She is the mother of Prince William and Prince Harry, 2nd and 3rd in line to the throne respectively. During her life she was often said to be the most photographed person in the world, appearing on the cover of People magazine more than anyone else.

Steiff have paid tribute to our "Queen of Hearts" by making this adorable white mohair bear, with beautiful blue eyes and pretty pink hand-stitched nose.

She is wearing a sparkling tiara and necklace and has "Diana" embroidered in blue on one paw and "Queen of Hearts" on the other.

This is really fitting, as in her own words she said - "I'd like to be a queen in people's hearts" Princess Diana.

It has the famous gold plated "Button in Ear" and a white label, showing that it is only limited to 997 pieces worldwide, making a very collectable bear.
