Meerkats live in communities and depend on one another for survival.
The Meercat features a very long tail that helps them stay balanced and they have a dark tip on the end to identify other gang members while foraging for food. It has a dark band around the eyes to reflect the sun and the ears have dark tipping.
They also have the unique ability to close their ears, which is to keep dirt out while they burrow. They have a long slender nose, small feet, with large claws, used for digging and they are able to dig as much dirt as their own body weight in just a few seconds.
This adorable soft toy meerkat has soft plush fur and most of the characteristics above, to give a very realistic look.
