Curly Temple is part of The Leading Lights Series, which was launched in the 2017 Isabelle Collection.
This bear was inspired by Shirley Temple Black, who was an American actress, singer, dancer, businesswoman and diplomat, who was Hollywood's number one box-office draw as a child actress from 1935-1938. She appeared in 29 films from the ages of 3-10, but was only in 14 films from the ages of 14-21 and she retired from film in 1950, aged 22. She is 18th on the American film institute's list of the greatest female American screen legends of classic Hollywood cinema.
When she was young, her hair was styled with ringlets and this is one of the things that people remember her for, so it is only fitting that CURLY TEMPLE should have gorgeous, blond curly fur! The light fur on the muzzle shows off her pink hand-stitched nose and mouth, which matches her big pink organza bow and she has "who me?" eyes. The big feet have light, thick fur around them and inbetween the toes, which highlights them, which is a great feature, especially as she is a dancing bear!
She is only limited to 220 worldwide, so if you are lucky enough to get one, you will definitely be dancing with joy!
