Comes in a special keepsake box, in the style of a book, with silver hand-drawn illustrations of each of the 4 characters.
Charlie Bears have created a brand new series in the 2020 Collection called "THE WIND IN THE WILLOWS". This is a famous childrens book, written by Kenneth Graham in 1908 and is about the adventures of animal friends in the countryside and the four main characters are BADGER, MOLE, RATTY and TOAD. These all talk and behave like humans, while still retaining their distinctive animal habits.
This series will be very collectable, as they are all a Numbered Limited Edition of only 500 worldwide. The characters are made from the finest plush fabrics and have incredibly detailed clothing.
Ratty is a water rat, who lives on the riverbank. He prefers to stay near water because it is his home, but he also enjoys travelling with his friends BADGER, MOLE and TOAD and takes them for trips on his boat. He is kind, sociable and accomodating, with a strong sense of manners and responsibility and so he wants to make sure everyone around him feels comfortable and included.
Charlie Bears have captured RATTY really well and he has all of the typical rat features, such as a long tapered muzzle, small nose, prominent ears and long thin tail. He wears a checked jacket, brown waistcoat, a shirt with a cravat and beige trousers.
He is very patient and a very loyal friend, so he will be the perfect addition to any collection, as he will be loved by the rest of your bears!
