Desdemona is a venetian beauty in William Shakespeare's famous play Othello and she enrages and disappoints her father when she elopes with Othello and it's a tragedy of racism, love, jealousy and hatred. Verdi wrote an opera based on this and it is called Otello.
ISABELLE DESDEMONA is a stylish and sophisticated bear, made from a mix of mohair and alpaca fur in taupe and cream, which is a great backdrop to her beautiful jewellery, which Charlie Bears have made individually by hand, so each one will be unique. Desdemonas' jewellery comprises antique effect leaves, pearl flowers and other coloured jewels, which combine to give a traditional and classic look. She also has a delicate collar around her neck, in silvery grey, cream and light brown, which compliment her fur and jewellery really well.
She has a brown hand-stitched nose and mouth, stitched pads and reverse backing on her inner ears, which gives a flecked look and is effective.
This adorable bear is like Desdemona in the opera, as you will fall in love with her and it will be a tragedy if you don't get her......... and if you do, others will be jealous when they see her in your collection!
