MADAME BUTTERFLY is part of a new mini collection of bears called "The Musical and Opera Series" and so all of the bears have been created with this theme in mind.
Madame Butterfly is a famous opera by Puccini and it tells the story of US Navy Lieutenant Pinkerton, who is stationed in Japan. He has paid for an arranged marriage to a fifteen year old geisha girl, known as Madame Butterfly and it is a tale of love and heartbreak.
ISABELLE MADAME BUTTERFLY represents this opera well, as she wears a beautiful butterfly fascinator, that has been hand made individually by Charlie Bears, so each one will be unique. The attention to detail is amazing and she also has another jewelled butterfly on her cream crochet ribbon, which has some lilac airbrushing, to compliment her fur.
She is made from a combination of alpaca and mohair fur, in cream and lilac, which is long and wavy and has some darker tipping. She looks very appealing, as she has the famous "who me" eyes, that have white felt underneath, giving extra expression. Her brown two-tone hand-stitched nose matches her stitched claws, which are on her ultrasuede sculpted pads and they also have some lilac airbrushing.
Madame Butterfly is a stunning bear and her beauty will make you fall in love with her....... but order her quickly to avoid your heart being broken, as she is only limited to 400 worldwide and there won't be enough for everyone!
