Ophelia is a character in William Shakespeares' famous play Hamlet. She is a beautiful young noblewoman from Denmark, who is the love of Hamlet, the Prince of Denmark and she is driven mad when her father, Polonius, is murdered by him. She dies while still very young, suffering from grief and madness.
The French Composer Ambroise Thomas wrote this grand opera of 5 acts in 1868.
ISABELLE OPHELIA is a stylish and sophisticated bear, made from a mix of mohair and alpaca fur in lilac, which is a great backdrop to her beautiful jewellery, which Charlie Bears have made individually by hand, so each one will be unique. Ophelias' jewellery comprises antique effect leaves, pearl flowers and other coloured jewels, which combine to give a traditional and classic look. She also has a delicate collar around her neck, in lilac, cream and dusky pink, which compliment her fur and jewellery really well.
This adorable bear is like Ophelia in the opera, as you will fall in love with her and it will be a tragedy if you don't get her......... and if you do, others will be jealous when they see her in your collection!
