The Faithful Friends Border Terrier handbag/shoulder bag features a realistic, cuddly soft toy Border Terrier dog that is wearing a lovely dog coat made from Thomson tartan.
The dog has a lovely coat of soft, cuddly fawn plush, dark eyes, a beige bib and grey 'whiskers' around his face. The handbag has gold fittings, with two short handles for carrying and it also has an adjustable shoulder strap that is found inside the small cotton lined zipped pocket, making this an ideal present for a little girl or dog lover.

The Border Terrier was bred in the 17th Century in the border areas between England and Scotland to help cull foxes. Its ancestry is common with many other terriers of that region.
The name was established in 1880 and before then they were called the Reedwater or Coquetdale Terrier.
The Border Terrier is now a popluar breed throughout the world, both as a workingb terrier and as a family pet.
