The Palomino is not strictly a breed, but a colour, although the Palomino is recognised as a breed in the US. These majestic horses have a creamy white mane and tail and their colouration can range from a light tan, to an almost dark brown, but there can only be a 15% variation in the gold/tan colouring for the horse to be able to qualify as a Palomino. This colouring dates back over 600 years, when they were brought from Europe to the New World in 1519 by a royal family in Spain.
This realistic soft toy Palomino horse has the characteristic creamy white mane and tail, with a darker tan plush fur. It has a white muzzle, dark eyes and dark brown hooves and will make a great present for any horse lover.
