Donkeys have been helping us in many ways for over 5000 years, such as transporting goods, land cultivation, guarding animals and for donkey rides on the beach!!
They are highly intelligent, have an incredible memory and amazing hearing - in the desert environment, they can hear the call of another donkey over 60 miles away!! This is helped by their big ears, which also help keep them cool. They are not easily startled and have a reputation for stubborness, but this is because they won't do something which they feel may threaten their safety.
This realistic plush soft toy donkey has soft grey fur, with a white underside and muzzle......and big ears....of course!! It has dark hooves, a long tail and a dark fluffy mane - so perfect for lots of stroking.
