Steiff's Lost and Found Teddy Bear is a bear with a tale to tell. In the late 1920s a young girl boarded an ocean liner to travel from New York to Southampton, along with her mother and her prized teddy bear. During the journey, teddy went astray and his young owner had nearly given up hope of finding him, when she was called to the 'Lost and Found' office where her faithful companion was waiting for her!
Lost and Found bear is a faithful recreation of that original Steiff bear. He has a coat of warm beige mohair, glass eyes and a growler in his tummy. He even has the 'Lost and Found' tag around his arm. He bears the famous gold-plated Steiff button in ear and comes in a Steiff box with numbered certificate of authenticity.
