Steiff's Franz teddy bear proudly commemorates 110 years since Steiff first registered the 'button in ear' as their trademark. This special bear is a very limited edition of only 110 pieces, so will grace just a small number of Steiff collections.
Franz has a coat of the finest beige mohair with black tipping. His boot button eyes have been painted by hand, and his nose is hand-crafted from sealing wax. He is a fully jointed bear and an impressive weight at over 3kg!
The button in Franz ear is stainless steel and embossed with the edition name. His unique woven label is black with silver embroidery, and individually numbered. He comes complete with a stick of sealing wax, a replica of the famous 'elephant' seal, a facsimile of the certificate of the patent specification from 1905 and a special pendant. Finally, he also includes a hand-made pin of 925 sterling silver. A true collector's piece!
