Hansel is the brother of Gretel in the well-known fairy tale, where they leave a trail of breadcrumbs in the woods and escape the clutches of a wicked witch who lives in a gingerbread house.
Hansel teddy bear is made from dark brown, felted mohair, with suedette paw pads. He is wearing traditional German leiderhosen, made from genuine, dark green leather, with a stag pin on his chest. He is fully jointed and has a hand-stitched nose and mouth.
