Steiff's 1934 Replica Teddy Bear has the elongated body typical of the time. The pale vanilla mohair is the cleverly re-created effect of years of sunshine on classic blond mohair, bleaching the teddy bear to a creamy shade.
The bear is traditionally stuffed with wood shavings from Switzerland. He has pale felt paw pads that also show the effects of sun-bleaching. He has beautiful hand-blown glass pupil eyes and bears a Steiff button in ear of patinated steel.
