One of a Kind (OOAK) Artist Bear
Gertrude from HM Bears is made from blond Yorkshire and German mohair, with rough hessian paw pads. She has an earnest face, with a bold, stitched nose and dark, shiny eyes. Gertrude is filled with traditional wood wool, combined with polyester and steel shot for a good weight. She wears a hand-made cardigan and navy blue knitted hat.
HM Bears are hand-made by husband and wife team, Chris and Iris Chesney. The couple have been making teddy bears together in the Lake District for over 40 years, and their bears have been known to travel the world - the Queen Mother purchased one for her grandson, Prince William!
