Bo the Portuguese Water Dog is the famous pet of the Obama family, given to the American President by the late Senator Ted Kennedy. The breed, originally from the Algarve in southern Portugal, was a working dog used by fishermen.
Kosen's Portuguese Water Dog is made from long-pile plush fur in black with a little white. He is beautifully finished, and the most life-like representation of this breed to be found in a toy.
Kosen designers study their animal subjects closely before creating models and finally hand-crafting each animal from up to 70 individual pieces of plush fabric, resulting in incredibly realistic and true-to-life toys.
