Mohair is the perfect material to make hedgehog spikes that are actually soft and strokeable. The fur is trimmed around her face to give a realistic hedgehog snout and show off her sparkly eyes. She is fully jointed and wears a printed dress and yellow felt cardigan with an 'SQ' brass pin badge.
Sue Quinn's teddy bears and many other animals are all designed and hand-made in her studio in Paisley, Scotland. Sue uses the finest materials including mohair, alpaca, silk and wool, often hand-dying to achieve just the right shades inspired by the Scottish countryside.
