CHARLIE BEARS HANOVER (HORSE)

NUMBERED LIMITED EDITION OF ONLY 2,000 WORLDWIDE

Size: 21½" (55cm)

When Her Majesty the Queen of England was crowned in 1953, the entrance to Westminster Abbey was guarded by ten fantastical creatures in the form of heraldic statues that were 6ft high and weighed 50 stone each!

Each beast supports a shield bearing a badge or arms of a family associated with the ancestry of Queen Elizabeth II. After the coronation, they were moved to the Canadian Museum of History in Quebec.

Charlie Bears have designed a stunning series to commemorate this and it's called The Queen's Beast Series.

Hanover is a Numbered Limited Edition of 2000.

Hanover represents the White Horse of Hanover, which represents Her Majesty's Hanoverian predecessors. The region of Hanover was often symbolised by a white horse on a red background.

Hanover has beautiful bright white fur, with long plush to create a mane, tail and feathered feet. Her hooves are also made of a white "suedey" material so they are lovely and soft. She wears an antique effect key pendant.

Hanover is from the Charlie Bears 2021 Collection.
