Toni and Milli are real-life Malayan Sun Bears who were rescued as cubs by conservationists working in Cambodia, after their mothers were killed by poachers and they were then moved to the Rare Species Conservation Centre in Kent in October 2013 and then moved to Chester Zoo in October 2015, where they can be seen today.
Malayan Sun Bears are very rare and one of the smallest types of bears, but they are very impressive when you see them up close. They get their name from the golden markings on their chest, which looks like a rising sun.
Charlie Bears have created this pair in an amazing set of the 2 bears, which is a Numbered Limited Edition of 1500 worldwide. They have captured the life-like details really well, from the short black fur, big powerful jaws, big paws and of course, the sun cresecent.
They are fully-jointed and will both stand un-aided, so can add an extra dimension to your collection.
