After selling pre-loved bears in our shop previously, we are pleased to be able to now add them to our website for customers further afield to adopt and enjoy!
All pre-loved bears that we accept come from smoke-free homes and are in excellent condition, complete with their original tags.
We enjoy seeing familiar faces and welcoming in old favourites back into our shop as we set out to find their new homes. Each bear listed on our website has an “in the fur” photograph taken by us and our detailed descriptions so you know you’re going to adore your latest arrival.

The story of Merrythought began in 1930, when Gordon Holmes began making the very finest mohair teddy bears from a beautiful brick foundry building in Shropshire and this is where the bears are still being made today.
Each soft toy is expertly brought to life using luxury materials and traditional craftsmanship, that has been handed down through four generations of this family business and each bear proudly wears the famous Merrythought label, making it an exquisite piece of British heritage, which will be a loyal companion for life.
Faithful Friends is a family company whose prime concern is to supply quality gift products at realistic prices. With every product they produce, their aim is to represent the true character of the breed. They are all carefully designed and manufactured to levels that really reflect the individual breed. We have been stocking their products for a while in our shop and they are a popular line due to their price, but equally as important, the quality is really superb. When they arrive from us in the post, they will need no more from you than a good fluff up with your hands (or ideally a shake - it won’t hurt them!), to really get the full effect from the different types of plush that they have used, to highlight the details on each of the animals - an example of this is the Cavalier dogs, once fully fluffed, they really do look great!

Toys have been made in the German town of Bad Kösen for more than 100 years. The Kösen company was founded in 1912 as a doll-making factory and, in 1958, branched into plush animals which were an immediate success.
The outstanding feature of all Kösen Animals is their likeness to real animals. The design process is complex and ensures the finished product is incredibly life-like. Kösen designers begin by studying the animals in a zoo or in their natural habitat. Many drawings are produced, which are then used to make a clay model.
From the model a pattern is produced, then refined with several revisions until just right. Each animal can be made from up to 89 individual pieces of fabric and they are all sewn by hand. The resulting cuddly animals are amazingly realistic and beautifully crafted. Kösen also works with animal protection charities around the world to ensure the protection of environments and wildlife.
