The teddy bears and animals from the Steiff Replica series are very special, as they have re-created bears that they have made in the past, using historic patterns and tools and so have been reproduced exactly according to their role models from the Steiff archieves. All Steiff replicas have the famous "Button in Ear" indicating the year in which they were made and from Spring 2017 onwards, they have had replica ear tags as well. From this time, the white tag with red lettering will be sewn into the side seam of the bear as well and will contain the article and limited edition number.

Teddy Bear Dicky was first made in 1930 and several replicas have been made since, in 1985 and 1992. He has now been lovingly recreated, using the historic pattern, which includes the colourful, two-tone paw pad detail which people love and his smiling face.
DICKY BEAR REPLICA 1930 is made from high quality blond mohair, that has elaborate shading all over his body and his arms and legs are loosely jointed. He is stuffed with wood shavings and has a squeaker, so can talk to you.
Just look at his friendly face and maybe you will find room in your collection for this revisited classic.
It has an underscored button made of patinated steel and period correct label in his ear, plus the white replica label on his side, showing that it is only limited to 930 pieces worldwide, making a very collectable bear.
