How to find our Swanage store

To reach our shop in Swanage take the A351 from Wareham. You will pass through the beautiful village of Corfe Castle and continue for 6 miles through tiny villages and the rolling Purbeck hills. If you are lucky you will see the smoke of a passing train on the steam railway. An alternative way to get here is by parking at Norden, 3 miles from Wareham and travelling into Swanage on the restored steam railway – an experience to remember and a great way to see the countryside!

Another interesting route you can take is by heading towards Sandbanks, from Poole, on the B3369, Banks Road. From here you can take the chain ferry across the harbour mouth. It takes around 15 minutes and gives you a great view of the famous Poole harbour. You will save about 15 miles on a round trip from Poole too.

If you drive into the town there are two long-stays and one short-stay car park, clearly sign-posted. The closest to us is Broad Road. Click here for all car park details. It is usually possible to find on-road parking on the residential roads near the High Street, but be prepared for a steep walk down and back up to your car.

Corfe Bears teddy bear shop in Swanage is on the High Street in the centre of the town, not far from the pier. Swanage is a surprisingly well-endowed shopping destination. With gifts, sporting goods, clothing, fine foods, homewares and much more on offer it is well worth a day trip

Swanage is a traditional seaside town, with lots to see and do for the whole family, and accommodation from caravan sites to high quality hotels. In the town centre you will find numerous lovely cafés and restaurants to eat at, as well as plenty of fish and chips! The award-winning sandy beach is just a few steps from the shops and you will also find the theatre presenting cinema, comedy and entertainment all year round. The local coast and countryside is stunning for walks, or by car for those less able, and Durlston Country Park is a great place to start, with spectacular views and fascinating wildlife to discover.
