Comes in a special keepsake box, in the style of a book, with silver hand-drawn illustrations of each of the 4 characters.
Charlie Bears have created a brand new series in the 2020 Collection called "THE WIND IN THE WILLOWS". This is a famous childrens book, written by Kenneth Graham in 1908 and is about the adventures of animal friends in the countryside and the four main characters are BADGER, MOLE, RATTY and TOAD. These all talk and behave like humans, while still retaining their distinctive animal habits.
This series will be very collectable, as they are all a Numbered Limited Edition of only 500 worldwide. The characters are made from the finest plush fabrics and have incredibly detailed clothing.
Badger lives in the wild wood and was a friend of Toad's deceased father. He views himself as the elder, responsible for looking out for the well-being of the other animals. He is serious and loyal. He tries, without success, to correct Toad's wayward behaviour and he cares for the other animals. He organises Rat, Mole and Toad in the reclaiming of Toad Hall.
Charlie Bears have captured BADGER really well and he has beautiful brown and white stripes on his head, a dark nose and fluffy tail. He looks very smart and wears a brown jacket, checked waistcoat, shirt and brown trousers. He wouldn't be complete without his rounded spectacles that are perched on the end of his nose!
If you buy BADGER, he will look after all of the other bears in your collection..... including you!!
