CHARLIE BEARS PEREGRINE - FROM THE QUEEN'S BEASTS SERIES

When Her Majesty the Queen of England was crowned in 1953, the entrance to Westminster Abbey was guarded by ten fantastical creatures in the form of heraldic statues that were 6ft high and weighed 50 stones each!
Each beast supports a shield bearing a badge or arms of a family associated with the ancestory of Queen Elizabeth II. After the coronation, they were moved to the Canadian Museum of History in Quebec. Charlie Bears have designed a stunning series to commemorate this and it is called THE QUEEN'S BEASTS SERIES.
The first 4 beasts were launched in the 2019 Collection and they have now created 4 more in the 2020 Collection.
Peregrine is a Numbered Limited Edition of 2000.
Peregrine represents the Falcon of the Plantagenets and Edward III chose a preregrine falcon as the symbol to embody his love of hunting. In medevil England, falcons were used for hunting and as a means to display rank. Kings ere entilted to use the most impressive birds of all,which are pergrine falcons.
You will certainly be impressed by Charlie Bears Peregrine, as this large and mighty bird certainly stands out from the crowd, as he is very realistic. High quality plush fur has been used to create his stunning dark feathered, moveable wings and tail and he has a barred white underside, plus a dark, hooked beak and talons. He has a moveable head and his large dark piercing eyes have a black tear stripe underneath, which completes the look of this large and powerful bird of prey.
You will have to pray that you get one, as he is a limited in numbers, so be super-speedy yourself and order quickly!
