The original Mr Vanilla Steiff Teddy Bear of 1906 was a big hit, especially in America where President Edward 'Teddy' Roosevelt was winning hearts. This true replica is complete with the pale vanilla cream, wavy mohair coat and traditional wood wool stuffing. His proud muzzle is neatly shaved to show his hand-embroidered nose.

Mr Vanilla is fully jointed, with rather loose joints giving him the genuine feel of a bear that has seen many years go by! He has polished wooden eyes and bears the patinated steel Steiff button in ear, with the black and white label reserved for replica bears. He comes in a Steiff box with numbered certificate of authenticity.
