CORGI SOFT TOY DOG BY FAITHFUL FRIENDS

Size: 30.5cm (12")

The Welsh Pembroke Corgi is a herding dog which originated in Pembrokeshire, Wales. It is one of two breeds, the other is the Welsh Cardigan Corgi. They descend from the Northern Spitz type dog.

The Corgi has been favoured by British Royalty for over 70 years and is famed for being the preferred breed of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II .  She was given her first one by her father (King George VI) and it was called Rozavel Golden Eagle.  She loved the little dogs ever since and had a pack of them, lounging around Buckingham Palace!!!

Although Pembrokes are still used as working dogs, they are most often seen as family pets. They are known for being happy and intelligent but do have a stubborn streak at times. The Pembroke Corgi loves to eat and food is a great motivator when training.

This realistic and cuddly soft toy Corgi dog has a coat of soft, plush fur in white and tan.  It has short legs and a long back, with erect ears on the distinctive fox-shaped head.

It has beans in it's bottom to give a little weight and will "SIT" nicely!

Hand wash only.

Suitable from 2 years of age and up
