Steiff's Alexander bear is the naturalist of the Paradise Jungle, and he is named after the Prussian explorer and botanist Alexander von Humboldt (who gave his name to Humboldt penguins, amongst several other species!). He is made from a brand new Steiff Schulte mohair blend. His coat is various shades of brown, with a curly texture.
On Alexander's paw sits a beautifully detailed and vibrant parrot, made from mohair and wool felt. The parrot features extensive airbrushing and a long felt tail, and even bears his own Steiff button in addition to the one in Alexander's ear! This wonderful pair will arrive in a Steiff box complete with numbered certificate of authenticity.
