Hans Clemens never really set out to make teddy bears. Having left behind his factory making and selling Shoes in France during the 2nd World War, he opened a shop selling china and gifts. The enquiries and requests for teddy bears became so overwhelming that Hans started manufacturing bears from German Forces' old blankets!

Today Clemens produce a great range of bears from many different teddy bear artists. Most are limited editions and all are finished by hand to ensure a perfect specimen every time. Clemens Spieltiere stands for teddy bears of great quality and great character.
