Robin Rive comes from New Zealand, where for around 35 years she created a large, innovative range of handmade, soft collectables. She made gollies for around 10 years, with over 90 different gollies. They range in size from 15cm to 65cm and the most recent designs over 25cm have Robins’ distinctive “RR” signature on the right foot.
The earth-love fur is unique to Robin Rive gollies and the small limited edition quantities make them highly collectable. Each one comes with a Limited Edition name certificate around their necks. All have removable clothes and some are fully jointed.
After long consideration and much soul searching, Robin has recently retired. This was hastened by a serious operation to her husband, Bryan. We purchased a high percentage of her remaining gollies, which are detailed here.
Robins’ daughter Brigitte, together with her husband Gareth, have continued with the gollies and details of these can be found under the “Brigitte Rive” section.
