We are very excited to introduce the fantastic Kaycee Bears. Designed and made by Kelsey Cunningham - a well-known name in the UK teddy bear world - this is Kelsey’s very first collection of plush bears and we are delighted to be one of the very first stockists.
Kaycee teddy bears are made from plush fur with luxurious cashmere pads on their feet. All of the materials are sourced in the UK and the bears are made by hand by a very small team, including Kelsey’s Mum and Dad! They are traditionally jointed and each bear features a pretty, trade-mark crystal at the back of their ear. Kelsey personally finishes all of the bears, including airbrushing and shading.
There are gorgeous sets of bears within this first collection from Kaycee Bears. The Garden Collection consists of Bluebell, Basil, Primrose, Poppy and Marigold - teddy bears who start off snowy white, then are brought to life with Kelsey’s vibrant, colourful airbrushing. The Kaycee family of Mr Kaycee, Mrs Kaycee, Sis Kaycee and Bruv Kaycee are gorgeous, rich-coloured teddies with a cute family trait of freckles on their noses.
Purdee, Leonie and Zebedee have wonderful plush fur with animal patterns on their arms, legs and ears. Raspbeary, Dewbeary and Tutti Frutti teddy bears have lovely pastel colours with heavy light tipping which makes them irresistibly strokeable.
Kaycee Bears first plush collection includes two fantastic limited edition characters. Smokey Joe is a great big bear limited to just 200; he is hand-made by Kelsey personally from beautiful, long-pile and slightly crimped plush fur. Leopold the leopard is limited to just 25. He is a big cat with a suitable weighty feel and a wonderful, long tail. He is made from black and white, leopard-spot effect plush fur (made in the UK just like all of Kaycee Bears’ materials) and he’s going to steal some hearts!
